Project Notes
This exceptional single-family home underwent a transformation, evolving from an in-law apartment into a floor-through entertaining space and guest room, with additional bedroom space incorporated on its upper floors. The residence seamlessly blends classic parlor-level detailing with a contemporary and relevant design, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship in every aspect and emerging as a true masterpiece.
Throughout the first floor, walnut veneer was employed, and we collaborated with one of the industry's most skilled millworkers to ensure the integrity of the book-matched veneers. The dining room, in particular, exudes warmth and invites with its walnut wall and ceiling paneling, providing an ideal setting for shared meals with loved ones.
A keen eye for consistency in aesthetics is evident throughout the entire space, from the carefully chosen light fixtures to the wood paneling in the ceiling soffit. Notably, insets in the dining room and crown molding integrated around the living room's perimeter contribute to a seamless transition between rooms, enhancing the overall cohesion and elegance of the home.
