In the process of transforming this residence in Newton for a couple seeking to move from the city, the renovation adhered closely to the principles of traditional Tudor architecture. The skilled team at Hacin, specializing in both architecture and interior design, delved into the historical guidelines governing Tudor architecture. Their objective was to maintain fidelity to these principles while infusing the home with a contemporary ambiance. The result is a skillful blend of tradition and modernity, achieved through a thoughtful integration of colors, patterns, and materials throughout the home.

The living room exudes a serene atmosphere through a carefully curated color palette, which seamlessly extends into the dining room. Noteworthy design features include a wood-paneled wall, a ceiling adorned with patterned wallpaper, and an epoxy resin light fixture. The transformation involved creating an opening in what was once a full wall, significantly improving the spatial flow on the first floor of the home. This newfound openness was further accentuated by the introduction of exquisite furnishings and decor, completing the harmonious fusion of traditional charm and contemporary allure.
